I love this picture. The mix of suspense and magic that achieved with so little intrigue me. I used it at the time as my album cover for “The Stalker” (Secta Records, 2008) and wanted to get it back to this site. It is a work of my partner Jordi Azategui who took the photo on a holiday we spent together in Cantabria.
Long time ago, in a galaxy far far away…
An intrepid group joined me to play electro-rock music in Barcelona. We released our first album “This Is No Real Underground” and we made a handful of concerts. And now, Hutts are in Spotify. Cool!
At the time, we founded the Secta Records label that is still active.
There will be blood
Like a candle ready to ignite
I know you’re instructed for the night
People love the bright light of a knife
And foolish girls
who pulled you out the tie
And you say:
“Action,
Reaction,
it’s just your stink eye”
There will be blood
There will be blood
Ten free tickets for this ride
We’re ready for a little sacrifice
A beauty war on TV for the bride
And, at the end of day,
reach him the mic
And he says:
“Action,
Reaction,
give me your stink eye”
There will be blood
There will be blood

Maikiman: “One” (Rewolf EP, 2010)
My nickname “to the floor” is back!
This EP (with my alias MAIKIMAN) is a tribute to the style that hooked me to electronic music: classic techno that was developed in Detroit and later emigrated to Berlin during the last 80’s and early 90’s. Specifically, the record that summarizes the time: “Tresor II: Berlin & Detroit - A Techno Alliance” in which artists joined East and West: Juan Atkins, Jeff Mills, Maurizio, Thomas Fehlmann, Underground Resistance… Thanks teachers!
The original artwork color photography is a work of Azategui.
